Title: Making a intro
Post by: on Sat 03/04/2004 20:30:14
If you want to make some cool intros for your game all you need to do it grab the Anim-fx
http://www.anim-fx.com/ use the camstudio to grab it because unless you pay for Adnim-fx you can''t save it .
I did one (see below)  I wish it look better when you run it in AGS but I'm not sure how ? is it the colors the game runs in ?

Um.... Well, I got to say It looks good but 4megs for just fancy text?  Good atempt but its a lil' big for what it is, you could easily make that a gif and it would be like 700kb

If you on the other hand go here (http://www.anim-fx.com/samples2/) and get yourself one of the textfiles... Then you can edit it using the program as a reference for the different values. Just rename the textfile to have the same name as the Flash Movie, (for example arrow.txt & arrow.swf) and off you go!

Then you get something like this (http://home.no.net/thanma/flash/photocopy.swf) down to 35,8kB!

I think you have to buy a flash license or something to integrate it into a program..

Dunno either way.. But I do know that AGS can't play 'em.
