Title: MIDI in need of a good C&C
Post by: auhsor on Sat 06/11/2004 13:03:42
Well I wrote a new midi song in the last few days while the forums were down. I've had a few of the parts in my head for a while now, so it was about time I put it on paper... or computer or whatever. Anyways, I made it in Guitar Pro, and I intend to write lyrics for it, tho I havn't been able to do that yet. I'm not too happy with the drums towards the start. They are a bit of a rushed job.

Well here it is...
Josh - Untitled (http://users.tpg.com.au/lukinso/forums%20upload/Josh%20-%20Untitled.mid)

I would like comments about what to make better. Be as harsh as you want, as I want to make this song into something great. One day I might be able to get a band to play it, if I ever decide to make one.

Right click, Save as does the trick.

As for the tune, I like it, it has a calm, optimistic feeling. I would add a solo, but it's ok the way it is now.

Thanks for the comment Damien. I want to add more to it like verses, but I guess if I'm writing words then it will give it more structure. I will try and add a solo. They are cool, and we will see if I can get one going.

And Chicken, it is there you might need to right click and save as, like damien said.
