Excellent picture. Colours are good and the whole picture really says "Monkey Island". Only thing to critique (right now at least, exhaustion, beer etc) is the line art. It seems a bit sloppy. I'm not sure if that is the style your after, but especially in the clouds it bothers me. And speaking of clouds maybe they are too long. Maybe just a bit more cloudlike? Also the shoreline looks a bit odd to me, but can't really say what's wrong with it. Overall really great pic. Keep up the good work.

Excellent, and very Monkey-Island-3-ish. But I have to agree on the clouds. They look too massive and not really like clouds. But other than that: woooohoo!

I really like the clouds. It's almost mockart rather then fan art. It's taking an original idea, and making it more original and stylistic. The colors on the two left mountains look off. The higher ones look ok, but I think those need to be more saturated? I don't know for sure, but the color looks out of place. Overall, very nice. Kinda big though.

Evil...it's always best to create your images huge, scale down, and touch up. Everyone knows that.

I like the picture. When it was loading I thought it was the one scene from CMI (with the lemonade/cannon stand)...then I realized it wasn't. Though the clouds bug my eyes somewhat...they're all over the place...Nice work though!

Should, maybe I say maybe, the buildings towards the back, be a little more...faint? I don't know if this applies to cartoony BGs, though, as this looks fabulous.

Only thing I see is that the clouds furhter away look a little too concrete for the distance. Make sense? Seems like they should be a little less .... distinct. just a little.

ive been away some days, thx for crit!
about the sloppy lines i think i wanted it, not to keep the picture to pretty.
Maybe i can fix the clouds by just lower the opacity of the lines, to make them less outstanding. but i think i like the long shape of them

The shoreline i can see what you mean, its so hard to get it right. ill try get a better light/shadow on it and darker wet sand down by the waves.

hmm should i lower intencity of the clouds? or remake? not to make them 2 massive.

and i like BG's covering my desktop so i made it 1280*960 xD, maybe 1024*768 is standardres for bg's?

well the clouds take a lot of space, but most in the picture do. but ill try some new shape (and color?) of the clouds

got any place perculiar? tried to keep the contrast at the same level in the picture, but maybe the middle look abit flat?

true about the clouds futher away, maybe different colors, or just not so satturated

Wow. That's neato.
I really like the foreground but find it blends a bit too much with the background.
Perhaps you could lighten the buildings etc. gradually as they get further into the background.
The arch on the beach looks to me like it would be a sign, probably the name of the town.
P.S. Saw your other pics on your website. Your MI style is great.
