Post by: blenderhead on Tue 27/07/2004 22:59:08
I have been working with AGS since october of last year and made a few little test games but this is my idea for a proper game...

Mountain Break Motel (MBM) for short

Story-

You play a detective from the FBI on his way from california across america to meet his relatives in new york you stop at a texas motel for the night.
After booking your room you quickly go to your room and get some sleep, in the morning you wake to find the receptionist/owner has been murderd and its your job to find which guest or staff member has killed him.
You soon find that not all the guests are what they seem.

Thats all i realy have so far what do you think, any thing i should add to the story??

-edit-

Here is a room of the motel what do you think??

Sounds cool. but if you were traveling from California to NY would you gothrough Texas? You may do but is Texas not very low down in America?
I think it would be better if it was the owner but just my opinion.

It's cool to use Texas.
The old Route 66 (which ran uninterrupted from Chicago to Los Angeles) goes through Amarillo in north Texas, so it's not unbelievable.

The story could be interesting...
