yeh i like it yoke, as i said you've kept all the lines clean and its really payed off. Good work.

*edit* well seeing as we're yelling, those pants look a little perverted hanging off like that... is there somthing your not telling us yoke? *edit#2* does he have a camel toe? (not on his feet) - seriously though, these are the only few little things that i could see needed changing.

the purple skin looks like some kind of ninja suit the guy is wearing, and not his actual skin. Even the shading makes it look like "loose" hanging cloth. No idea how you could fix this though...maybe use a darker shade of purple for places like his mouth and between his toes etc..

He does in both forms of the word.

Well, the only thing that bugs me a bit, y0ke, besides the ones already mentioned, is the outline on the gun is pretty dark in comparison to the gun coloring.  On the alien, however, the outline is much more lighter when compared to the actual filling.  I'd suggest darkening the alien's outline a little bit, to match with the gun's outline more, and to make it easier to see some 'er there details.

Whew, that whole paragraph when only one sentence was needed.    :D

a bit more shading on the stomach and hands would be nice. Otherwise than that, it's awsome!

Reworked him based on some of your suggestions, and some of my own.
Still have a bit of a problem with his upper body being "empty".

Suggestions?

First of all, I love the sprite - Great cartoony style, that would work great in-game. :)

Did a minor paintover though - Not too good, but perhaps it'll help... :)
Changed the hand, added an outfit.

Point taken about the hand. when I started looking at the arm I originally had, it reminded me of an Escher drawing. Shading and angle suggest that the hand should indeed be in front of the body.

Also the shirt is a good idea, although the shirt you put on him made him look like a Trekkie. ;)  He will loose all his sex appeal, but perhaps gain some credibility. I'll do an edit as soon as I'm back from work.

YOke, he can have a ripped shirt, showing his "buldging" muscles, and the fact that he ripped his shirt while fighting other aliens. Think Evil Dead for ideas, haha.

This is about as far as I'm going with this dude. His new hand turned out a bit strange, but I'm not really motivated to fix it. :P
