Title: Music for game(RyRayer)
Post by: RyRayer on Sat 16/04/2005 09:50:48
I'm starting to make a game. I wanted to make music at first and here is one song I made with Fruity Loops. http://zone.ee/ryrayer/Sea.mp3
(This song will be played, when you are at the beach)

This game is about pirate, who was boot out from one pirates group, because he was too scared to accomplish a mission, given by group leader. Now he wants to get off this island and make his own pirates group.

I haven't done much yet, so I didn't put this thread in " AGS Games in Production".

Sounds pretty good, and Caribbeanish too.

In places it sounds a bit empty though. The parts where the melody stops kind of breaks the flow of the tune. I suggest you get rid of those gaps.

You could also try adding more instruments. Something like flute or strings playing on the background would make an improvement. You said you made it in Fruity Loops, I could possibly try and make an edit of the tune if you could send me the project file (you could export the tune as a zipped loop package, that way the needed instruments would be included in the file.)

Keep up the good work.
