Hey, first post here but I've been lurking around for a fair while  
I realised that  fancy sounds = unproductivity, so I've made a MIDI tune that I may use in a game which I'm currently just writing the script for.  It would be heard in a scene where the player character returns to a familiar environment only to find that something is quite wrong.  C&C is of course appreciated

There's a synth sound that appears at 1:20, sounds like a bass guitar, is it just me, or it's following chords playing two note, if so maybe if you change it up bit, it'd make even more interesting. But it's just a personal opinion nothing technical...otherwise, I like it. To me it's very "you've entered an evil lair in a sf adventure" feel but what you described fits as well.
