I really dig the retro look of this poster.  Reminds me a lot of J.Otto Seibold.

Looks very good.. i totally dig the old styled colors and items.. and the brown shape all the items are in.. but what must the brown shaped thing be? a babyphone or something?

It doesn't draw very much attention to it, but it is certainly pleasant to look at. The three of hearts is my favourite, it stands out from all the others becoause of it's colours and the fact that it is symbolic enough so I don't have to squint my eyes to know what it is. The items in the lower left corner are quite brownish, while the ones in the upper part are more colorful (which draws my eyes there). The record-sleeve is quite hard to distinguish from the background and i have no idea what the thing in the first column and third row is but elsewise it is very nice. It also reminds me of Katamari Damacy somehow.

The card is actually an Ace, it's had to be scaled a little to fit on here, the actual size of the thing in pixels is huge because its for print, so it'll be easier to make out. The order ofe toys is still to be finalised and i do see what you mean about the colour! The 'mystery thing' is actually a ball of lint, not other things as numerous people have suggested haha. Thanks for the feed back guys its a great encouragement, and it was inspired in ways by katamari demacy :)

That looks awesome. Though, as biothlebop said, the items don't attract enough attention. I'd still make the items lighter and more saturated, and I'd make the paper texture a little subtler.

I think it depends on what you want to do with it. If none of those items is especially important (which I deduce from the fact that they are placed in uniform boxes), you could try to break the image so that there is no individual focus point over all the others (which in my case was the card) by, for example spreading the colourful objects that are now in the upper right more to the left and down so that the entire image is in balance, but keep the things that attract attention (and emphasise it in the ones that don't) so someone will look at it in the first place. The paper texture is nice, but the fact that the items seem to have some texture of their own makes them blend in the background. This is especially true of the brownish/pastel coloured objects and the partly transparent balloon.
That is to say, it doesn't neccesarily need to be more saturated, but at the moment it looks more like an art poster than an poster for a product that really wants you to buy it.

I like it.  It's very stylized too.  I don't have any critiquing.  It's perfect.

Your inanimate objects have a lot of character.

Hang on...I recognize that light bulb... :D

I'm using the same one in my Digital Graphics class (inverted (the shape, not the color)) as the basic shape of a vase I have to draw.

Photoshop owns. :=
