Hey this is my first attempt at a character look, first cg artwork in this format.
What do you guys think all input will be much appreciated!
The clothes follow the curves of the body a little too well. The coat should be hanging over her, not stuck to her. Other than that, you might want to smoothen down the shoulders. She looks like she's got some padding on underneath that.
I don't know if this is a coat, really. I only see the upper torso so I don't know about that. Of course with a body like that and clothes like that you must show the nipples. And you could add a lot of detail, especially on the shadows. But I like her ;)
that's a good style, i like it alot.
Hey thanks!
Its one of those very funky leather thingies...
full pic to follow

About that I agree about the shoulders! Thanks
Its more of a cat suit.. So I was going with the stuck on her look.
Is there really girls that wear that kind of stuff? Seems imposible to me. ;D
There are. Either they're wearing bodypaint or they're on mardi Gras.
Looks very good, a nice, clear cartton style; reminds me a little of the GTA ads. Looks like the kind of style that could carry a game very well and keep your workload down because even without shading, it looks good. You should post a pic of the whole character.
In fact its useally made out of PVC or something, but never the less.
I will post the whole pic soon just want to work on it a little more.
Keep you guys updated!
not bad upper torso drawing, left hand has too high elbow and right hand just isnt nice, also soulders are too square.
but i actually posted to give u advice about scanning: to get a nice line u shud ink ur painting and then scan it adjusting line thikness by playing with contrast. this way u evade gettin "thready" (partially thin) line
inking is where I overlay paper over the original and ink it in? like copying it?
i edited this to rephrase my thoughts:
u take original and make a copy by any means. then u take a copy, take your favorite drawing tool that operates with ink and go over existing lines on the drawing. that way u get clear lines that u play with in photoshop or any other tool u use after u scan it.
