Hello everyone, I'm new at posting in the site, even if I lurked for a long time.
I'm trying to make a game (320x240, hi-color), but I never used painting programs, I recently picked up photoshop, I looked at tutorials, other guys' works and made some drawings:
In this walking cycle I used the one of Indy4 as a template :

This should be a "dialog screen", gabriel knight 1 style (faces taken from photos and edited) :

Please tell me what I did wrong and how can I improve. Thanks a lot!
The walk-cycle looks good, but the problem is that with the zoom you did or something it looks weird [maybe its a problem of my computer].
The dialog screen looks great to me. Maybe the two guys are too pallid [maybe that's the Gabriel Knight style, but I havn't played it, it's on my things to do list] and the girl's breast's line looks too dark [maybe you did it intentionally to make them look bigger ^^].
By the way, could you be so kind enough to post the image with indy-4 walkcycle or tell me where you got it? I kind of need it for a project I'm in. Thanks

You can find some walkcycles here (http://www.juncmodule.com/juncsource/characters.html).

Oh! Thanks a lot! I saw this page long ago, but I didn't bookmark it.
The sprites look good, although the beard (I think that's the gray spot) needs some work. I would have done a quick edit but the format you saved in blended them too much. Reduce the gray level and I think you will be all set. Good work!
Looks good. As Prog said, the beard is a bit too much in the walkcycle, but otherwise it looks fine. Other than that, it seems to me like you exagerrated the shading within the woman's cleavage a bit. I'm not telling you to shrink her boobs (dear lord no!!), just downtone the shadow a bit.
