That's suberb! I especcially love the pose and the colors. Also, the lines are very nice and sketchy-like. I assume it's supposed to be cartoonty so it makes sense that the head is smaller than the body. You've acheived a really mean-fat-badguy look..

nice work! The only thing i could suggest is that if hes running at pace, then his right foot would be pointing forwards, not to one side as shown.

That's great, really. He just needs a bit more motion; right now he seems to be standing in a pose rather than running.
The soft shading is excellent, though

Awesome, Pirate Jack. I like the shading. Though usually don't beards grow from the sideburns? Or maybe he shaved them off. Doesn't really matter, it's good anyway.
