Post by: on Mon 05/09/2005 10:15:02
Hi

I'm anouncing my latest job, in the game's music creation.

It's not an AGS game :'( but it serves has another demo for you to hear and enjoy).

The game is called "Something Fishie" and you can read more about it and listen to the demos in my website: www.sonicdaze.com

Critics and coments are allways welcome.

Remember that I'm allways willing to score your games (for a small fee, off course)

A little too 70's for me, but I like the sound itself (I assume that the 70's, hang out style is intended for this game?)

Hi,

you are right. It started when the Spellcaster studios asked me for a particular and very especific kind of music for the ingame action: A REGGAE

I've done the Reggae and tought it would be good to keep the oldie-goldie style also in the menu. Altough there is a diference of ten years between the twist and the reggae, it turned to be allrigt.

Thank you for your coments

I just heard the "Searching in the Myst", which seemed more to my taste.

Anyway, since you want critique, here goes:

I think that is too repeatetive. For the 1st minute or so, it's the same thing. It didn't kept me actually, so I didin't hear the rest... Sorry. Maybe it was the voice going :" This is a productiontrax only...". It bugged me a lot. Just the same thing, over and over again. And the strings, the Violins, what sound library do you use? They sounded fake, although for this kind of music you must have a realistic sounds as possible (at least this is what I believe).

Sorry for being harsh...

Cheers :)
