Its for a new game im making set in 1800's London that will have a sherlock holmes/ jack the ripper story line

I need to know if you notice anything wrong thus far, and I need advice on color schemes

EDIT:Its not in this pic but i added depth to the street, its now 1 pixel lower than the sidewalk

1. The lamppost is much to big or thick.
2. The front legs of the bench should be equally high.
3. I'd straighten to bottom edge of the fence in the back.

As for colouring, maybe you should watch movies set in the same period with similar storylines. Any Sherlock Holmes movie, 'From Hell' or 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen'.

I see you're going for some sort of isometric view here, without proper perspective; the tricky thing is that such views usually need to be seen more from above. In your image, things just get too disorted.
I would suggest that you follow traditional perspective rules.

Apart from that, it's clean and precise and I guess it will come
out nice coloured.

Loads of gray, red and brown is what I imagine on this picture when It's coloured. And many little details/detailed textures.

Massive, oak doors with wooden panels, perhaps?

I love the texture, but the way that the perspective is makes it look like a hole/slope.

Ya the veiw is a little off, but I dont really want to redraw it, I can probably find use for this in an intro or something

It's too dark :)

I like the brickwork, but you should really consider redoing the cobblestones. A plain gray fill would be better, with maybe a few patches of cobblestones sketched in. Or draw them all like the ones in the bottom right, which seem to have the correct perspective and aren't so huge.

I'm not sure what the focal point of the background is, but the centre of the image is quite empty.

The lamppost needs some detail, and the near rooftop needs some contrast or thicker outline to pull it up off the ground.

The stripey bin is a bit odd too.

Is it a shopping area, a residential area, a cultural area? I can't tell.

Thanks for the comments steve. In the game I might use the rain plugin or have a horse and carriage on this road. I will add details to the lamp and delete the bin as it is not time period. The roof will be changed a bit and I might change the road a bit but at the moment its not my first priority. The door in the back is a home while the one with the awning is a warehouse/store. The alley will lead to the docks once i remove the bin.

You might want to make the cobblestones that are further back (higher up) smaller than the ones that are more in the foreground. It might give a better sense of the pseudo-perspective.

I did a quick edit:

* Added some shading and highlights.
* Added slabs to the sidewalk.
* Fixed the perspective on the forground roof.
* Added perspective to the cobblestones (agree with Steve about using a gray pattern rather than cobbles)
* Fixed perspective on the small blue window & door next to it
* Fixed perspective where the sidewalk meets the grass.
* added detail to the grass

Hope it helps!

Edit - The cobblestones look rough.  I just created a pattern, filled it in, added perspective.  So they got blurred pretty bad.  But you could always trace over them if you want to get the perspective right.  I didn't have that much time :)
