Post by: Dumpster Tom on Thu 12/06/2003 00:42:55
Hey Guys,

I need some help drawing a forward view for my character. I've been trying all day to no success. :'(   I learn best from example. :)

My character is wearing a camouflage baseball hat that's backwards, an army field jacket, a pair of jean, and military type boots.

I will be very greatful for any help on this.

Here's my character (http://classictvcooking.homestead.com/files/klaa2/misc/dthelp.png)

A good idea is to base your character sprites on the template roger char walking animation.
Import all the roger sprites into your paint prog then begin to model your char over them... or above/below them etc. basically use it as a guide... I do anyway.

Yes, you did, and I thank you for that.

Here's how it is.  :-[

I recently did a fresh install on my computer, and I forgot to backup the folder with my game files, I lost everything, backgrounds, characters, notes, gone all gone.  Poof.  :'(

Oh it get's worse.

I moved back in march, and some how I seem to be missing a box which contain's my old backup cd's. They must have gotten sucked into a magic vortex or something, because I can't find them.

You know that saying "If it weren't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all", well I starting to believe it.  :-\

So I'm starting my project over from scratch.  I'm determined to finish it, I just need a little help now and then. :)

I know but it's not exactly the same.  ;)

Now the forward view sucks, I just can't seem to get it right, it looks to blocky, and the head and hat look like crap too.

I've gotten better at drawing backgrounds, but drawing characters, I just have a hard time with it.

I just need a little help, even if it's just a outline that would be great.
