Heh heh, cool. ;)

Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with MSPaint.  I use it for everything I draw.  I would like to get Photoshop CS for all the things that it has that you can't do with Paint, but until I can afford it, I have Gimp.  I don't use it too much though, I'm not familiar with how to use it to it's full extent, that and I'm more comfortable with MSPaint anyway.  (not to mention, if I have both Gimp and MSPaint running at the same time, my computer freezes up).
Watch, I just killed this topic...

Let there be light: Graphics Gale

I recently discovered the severly under-documented, over-powered program called Graphics Gale.

It's been my preffered source for pixel art creation ever since. And while I know this isn't the 'post your programs' thread, it certainly has been skewed in that direction.

It is definitely worth a register in my opinion.

Speakin' of paint programs...
I CAN'T FIND THE GIMP!
I went to the paint programs page and clicked on the gimp homepage. When I went to download it, there was like tons of different downloads. Can anyone give me the direct page to the right download? Im sick of using Deluxe Paint 4 and Ms-Paint.

hehe as I'm not actually an artist, I won't argue much, but I's like to answer as a comical reference:

No smooth command?
No, but why ddi you really need it if you're drawing pixel graphics, moreover, I mentioned I use something else for "paintings" already.
No tolerance fill or select?
If it's your own art, not scanned, not photorealistic, no smoothing in lines, no jpeg artifacts, and you're just going for simple stuff, why bother using these features?
No bezier lines?
I never like curves, I always use the straight line tool, curve tools are never useful to me unless it's a vector image.
NO LAYERS??? (A big one for drawing backgrounds. I like to put objects on a different layer so I can draw under them.)
That's just a challenge on one's ability on managing things, moreover, for more complicated stuffs I'll use DP or other better proggies anyways, which I had mastered the stencil tool, which had even more useful functions than layers anyways (for pixel arts).

And I think people did had some misunderstanding ;) , actually I hate M$Pain, as it's buggy (try using it with BW image) and IMO it's the crappiest painting programme ever made, yet I still use it because just it's light, clean, simple and fast.

And moreover, GIMP won't really work for my tablet, so it's pretty useless for drawings to me.

You must remeber that MsPaint was made on the microsoft-programmers coffee-breakt, when Billy G. decided to throw in apaint-program too. Therefore it's crappy, but still better then the crappy paint-programs that was made as a program and not a part of a operative-system-stuff. You know what I mean...
