I'm making like a crazy humorous cartoony-style game... so the bg is supposed to be like that...
Please tell me what do you think about it, and give me some suggestions to improve it.

A Bit overreacted, this cartoony look. Try to straighten things out a bit. Because drawing a charactes in same perpective(-less) style would be really difficult and I'm pretty sure that your character won't look so twisted.
I think that the door on the right (cafe) has about right amount of cartoonyness (sp?). Try to make everything as weird as the door is, and not more.
Overall, absolutely not bad for a first bg.
You mean it's supposed to have no depth at all? Everything is sooo flat...
- Try adding some shading, pick a definitive light source and judge the shadows from there.
- The road should be darker than the footpath (if it is the road :-\).
- The "cafe" is a bit too bright, and it draws the attention to it more. Unless it's going to be a major plot piece or a special location, change the colour so it doesn't distract you completely away from the other parts of the background.

I got confused about road/footpath colors... I meant to give each of them the other color lol...
