Title: need help with skate character.

i have just made this character for my game but somehow he doesn't look quite right. i think its the face. but i just can't get it right. paintovers or suggestions welcme

The biggest problem is his lack of neck imo.

Some modifications:

(the far left version isn t true to the original but if you happen to like the style it might be interesting)

(i) gave him a neck and shrinked the collar size.
(ii) heightened his mouth position.
(iii) flattened his shoulders.
(iv) untucked his t-shirt.
(v) made his arms slightly longer.
(vi) made his pants longer.

About it I think.

There is still something wrong about his pants... Maybe it is the bright outline. Try darkening it a bit

usually you'd use a colour slightly darker than the main colour, or vice versa. i think dark blue would work nice, or a very dark cyan.
