Hey, here's another bg for my upcoming game, Counterfeit.

I know there are some things off, like tha shading, and stuff on the desk in the room, the chair, etc.
C&C Welcome as always!
UPDATE:
Here, need help with the shape of this car, (before I color it and stuff)

Paintovers welcome as always!
Cool background , I like the style!
The thing I noticed that was off was the bin. Its a bit thin and there should be pixels going accross aswell as down.
and the window, it should be:
http://www.2dadventure.com/ags/help1.bmp
and you should make it look like there is glass on the window:

its a good background,
i think THe Shadow of the street lamp should go backwards and then up the wall instead of along the ground.. cos it looks off.. from the rest of youre shadows i think the light source is coming from in front so that would be good...
Other than that.. it looks good and i can't wait 4 the game!
Overall it's quite good.
Try make all vertical objects really vertical, now everything looks a bit tilted.
The trashbin could really need some more work; start off by making the opening much broader (the perspective is off now).
Also, the curb is getting gradually thinner - in the wrong direction.
Not bad at all!
I can tell this is the outside of the room you posted before!
They'll fit quite nicely together in-game.
Aside from a few perspective issues, I like it a lot!

Hey thanks everyone, I'm reworking it sa fast as possible
Looks good. Like Darth said, it fits perfectly with the inside of the office.
The only problem I see is with the lamp. It's shaded on the right side, but it casts a shadow to the left.
Good stuff!
You're improving rapidly!
Maybe that window could do with a frame...

It's a warped perspective style game.
So there you have it! My updated Background!
QuoteIt's a warped perspective style game
Allright, whatever you call it, I'd still like to see it with proper perspective...
Note that games with goofy cartoonistic distorted perspective seldom have a reversed perspective; they have proper perspective albeit not perfectly straight lines and angles, making things look warped. But there is still an order.
Ok, enough ranting. The image is good as it is :)

The new shadows are much better!
I would add some shadow lines behind the trash can on the wall.
Aside from that I like it a lot!
I noticed you added the chair behind the counter. Nice touch!

Quick edit:

ACK!! Another one bites the dust!
The humanity!! Another drive-by from Opo Terser!
Right, here is the latest version, fresh from the griddle:

Opo: Your style isn't exactly my style, but thanks for the edit, and big thanks for the bin!
If that's a manhole cover on the road, you may want to make it more of an oval (stretched horizontally).
EDIT: Also, the lightest part of the doorknob should maybe be on the other side (right, instead of left), based on the light hitting the post.
Yeah the bin was the main thing I wasn't pleased with, oh well, glad you liked it. And yeah I realized the doorknob issue too when I did mine. But it doesnt really matter its a nice background.
Is not a manhole, is a pothole. Manholes aren't so close to the sidewalk (I think). But yeah, I will change the doorknob.
I'd make the pothole more oval, just the same. Though I see it now that you've pointed it out, I had no idea what it was at first.
That's just me, though.
Yeah, okay.
I'm working now on a car that will drive by the place, and I can't get the shape right:

Any help would be appreciated!
It looks great!
Just fix the first wheel, it seems broken.
Also, maybe the car looks too realistic for your 'warped perspective' style.
yeah - that front wheel looks like it's falling out, while the back one seems to be almost going in (?) And maybe 'cartoonize' it a bit more. The two styles (cartoon/realistic) very rarely work well together.
As for the pothole in the road... I don't know EXACTLY how you'd fix it, but to me, it looks like something that would sit ON TOP of the street (ie - a seriously deformed rock), as opposed to something that's below street level.
But otherwise jolly good stuff :D
