So I'm tryin' to make some sprites for a collab effort my brother and I will be working on in our free time this summer and wanted a little input on how to improve the sprites I got made so far.
Right now I just have a couple characters 3/4's poses made, nothing fancy or final so criticize away!

I like the general pose, but the coloring of the body looks noisy. I prefer the clear style you used for her hair. Also, the shading is off in her chest area.

Your outlines are not very consistent and you don't really need some of them, like on the right side of their faces.

And, as cat mentioned, they seem a bit noisy although in itself that would be fine, but your shading is also off - for example there seems to be a shadow on character's foreheads, which doesn't really make much sense, also you drew a dark outline on their chins, but then you also added shadowing above, which again is kind of strange.

If you're not thinking of keeping that almost realistic style of shading on the clothes, then I'd go with a bit more realistic face. Right now, at least to me, it seems like two different styles are use on the head and the rest of the body.
I don't want the world, I just want your half
