umm yeah just tell me what you guys think. I'm actually really pleased with it. ;D
That really is good! My only comment would be that the door on the right is too bright. It doesn't really fit in witht the rest of the room, maybe make it a bit more grey?
I like the background. All though it seems a bit too dark at the dark place (from the middle to farest left).
(off-topic: Chris, could you try contact me on the MSN or at least PM me?)
It's not too dark i.m.o. It's perfect! Leave it! Just fix the black, and white door, with more detail, and you'll be finished!
brilliant! make it so the floor passes on past the door and add detail to the white room and your done!
love the work, cant wait to see it on a game
contrary to Minimi, I think this background can be improved, even though it's already very good.
The only thing that bugs me is the lighting; it's seems pretty "filtered", which makes an unnatural contrast between different areas of the picture...
If you have a version of it without the lighting effects, I suggest you try and add shadows and highlights manually. The spotlight on the door seems pretty unnecessary to me, too.
Heck, I made an attempt. I think I've managed to balance the picture somewhat; at least incorporated the left part of it.

That's great!
I must say however, that the pic reminds me more of a cellar than of a space ship... The wall look IMO rather like concrete than like steel or plastics... I'd say the cracks in the walls are too irregular. Of a spaceship interior I expect a more tiled or paneled wall texture.
Just remember to alter the colour of the doorway on the right hand side (which you changed from white to black) to fit whatever room is through the doorway in your game :)...
Other than that, it looks fine to me.
Nice! But when anyone shows me an interior, the first thing I think is... Though it's not so off as to detract from the overall impression.

Yes, maybe the perspective was off, but it's not that notice-able...
The right door looks way to "unfinished".
To me the lighting looks a bit funny...
