I got an assignment for a B&W "portrait" of a predator in the uni and I chose a red tailed hawk. I could use some constructive help for what I have so far. The limitation for the project was 150x150 pixelwise. I got about 50 pixels to fill up with stuff I left out ( Like the volume-lacking neck )

Thanx in advance.

Edit: Nevermind the neck for now, I'm still not decided on the values on that part.
Farewell Friend, for I was a thousand times more evil than thou.

I like the idea of going for a hawk with the Predator topic. It also looks very good render-wise. The only two things that are bugging me are the composition and the 'portrait' specification, which kinda mean the same thing in this case. I just don't like the composition much. It's probably because it's a square canvas and the hawk has been kind of stuffed into it, if you know what I mean. As for the portrait specification, I would take such a high-up angle to show the hawk. It seems more like a zoomed in image than a portrait.

Still, very nice brushwork. Post references if you had any.
