The drastic changes in proportion are intentional, right?

The wheels don't do it for me. I think the rest of the car looks great - but those tyres scrape my brain.

It's awesome. Your artistic prowess will never cease to impress me.

Still, I agree with Peter Thomas, the wheels... just... gah!

The wheels are just right i.m.o, it's obviously not to scale, and i think it just adds character.

So, sorry, but the wheels stay ;)

My personal opinion about car art should be that they have massively oversized wheels, but then again it still looks great

Gone for more of a comic look, wich the wheels work well for (how you would have made that car cool i couldnt guess (no offence, your car copuld b a lot worse, eg massively oversized spoiler, go fast stripes, an oversized exhaust and neons))

I really like it, as always with your stuff

Yeah i know what you mean about the big wheels etc, but i think all cartoon cars are like that, so i wanted to be a bit different. Im not into the whole modding thing with cars (big wheels, bodykits etc) and my car is purely for performance, hence its totally standard looking. But it goes like stink ;)

I HATE modding kits, they look awful (but are hillariouse to laught at some ones tricked out ford ka with a exhaust 4 inches in diameter)

U know what else i hate? that corsa add... so if you do use it for something just DONT use it for an animation like the corsa add.

But maybe some comic animation would be kinda fun

whatsthcoraad like, i haven't seen it.

an advert animation i do like is, toyota(i think) where they sing "hate something, to change something lalalala" thats a good advert, unless its the corsa advert of which you speak, in which case, i hate it down to my soul

Its not an animation, i just hate it, its the one like wacky racers, and black corsa is like dick dastardly, an as they approace the finish "black corsa is flat out for the finish posts, and the post really finishes him!"

I was just thinking maybe Dan could do an animation with it, just under no circumstances like that add!

'the hate something, change something' is a honda ad, promoting their new diesel engines.

I think the Corsa ad works really well, it does a nice job of personifying whats otherwise a bland little hatchback, and puts the emphasis on how fun and nippy to drive they are. The Wacky Racers thing was probably used because of the age group targeted (20-somethings) and Wacky Races has always been considered 1 of those RetroCool cartoons that everybody seemed to enjoy, and never goes out of style or ages.

oh yeah, i like that advert too, the voiceover man is annoying, but the concept is great.  I like mutley logo at the end, just a simple touch that completes the ad.

Even for an exaggeration, those wheels are too small!

How can that be possible? It's all down to the style, and seeing as there's nothing really similar to compare it to i dont really understand how the wheels can be 'too small'. Saying theyre too small would suggest that theyre too small in comparison to something, or that they're supposed to be a certain size.

Agreed, I'll say the wheels are small (very small when compared with the real thing) but I won't say they're too small, it's perfectly okay for a unique style (I can understand why most people would find it uncomfortable though).

I don't have any thing to crit. for the sytle and technique (especially when my abilities are much inferior), it looks perfectly as it is by now.
I'll suggest adding some characters alongside with the car, or even a scenery background, that would be awesome. (Especially when there're some exaggerated features in those other stuff, like extremely small feet for characters say for example).

Yes, i was going to make a comparison between the wheels in my drawind and GuyBrushes' feet in CMI. Is there really any difference? Theyre both ridiculously undersized, but because that style is consistent throughout the game, it works well.

I think the car is great in general, although the wheels are a bit too big.
