Animating legs

Hey! I'm making a character and I need tips/help on how to animate his legs.
I'm using photoshop..

heyhey poorkie, Character looks lovely, but i think the side walk needs some help. When the guy walks he doesnt bend his legs enough, i think that he need's to bend at the knees more. You might want to check out eric (or iqu's <3) sprite sheet's for referance.

Yeah.. He need to bend em knees..
I saw that spritesheet, somebody gave me the link on irc.
