I've spent the whole night on this one (it's 7:22 AM here now), I really hope this'll pay off.

Pixeling the roof was hell, I don't have the nerve to add lighting right now...but I will.
Basically, I need advice on the choice of colors, the sidewalk and the (missing) background. And the clouds.
Ignore the civic, it's just in there to connect the different elements proportion-wise. Maybe I'll trace it, maybe I'll do a different car from scratch, I haven't decided on that yet.

There aren't any windows yet. But if I added them, I'd have to seriously redraw the interior. :P As the game is set in the not so distant future, maybe those walls are made of some special glass and let sunlight pass through them? Who knows :=

i love this style and the grass and hedge are fantastic imo.

the colors are great for the choice of sky cover and the nice day it appears to be.  very bright.  it does kind of look strange to not have a front window, but that's ok...future people don't like light ;)

Well, the house is not tall enough for the inside to fit. And I don't know if you want it, but the garden seems utterly large to the left, this is not the kind of garden I see here, but surely it can be bigger, at home we had 2000m2

You have 2000 square meters of gardens?! Now who's rich :D?

On-topic: Must be somewhat of an eccentric, the guy who lives in that house. I've never seen a similar one, at least not in a suburban area.

I think the shadowing on the door is too light. The detail of the house next door is very nice. The grassy area is a bit empty. Also, the clouds need to be pixelled. Blurring one thing while pixelling the others doesn't work in this style.

Looking good. I think I would add a little texture to the sidewalk, and maybe to the house walls. The garden behind the fence does look large, maybe some distant trees would help? Or some vague buildings in the distance? There could also be a tree in the front yard that would cover part of the the fence and maybe part of the roof (it'll make shading it easier too  ;) )

Afflict

Looking good the car is spoiling it though :(

I'd assume that in the future people live underground as well? ;)

I agree, it's a pretty boring garden. I'd expect flowers, some plants, maybe a tree?

I'd also say that the far background needs some features. Maybe some mountains, or rolling hills? Or if there are lots of buildings everywhere in the future, some tall skyscrapers? It looks a bit odd, because even now, I can rarely ever get a direct view of the horizon.

It looks good, but i would suggest you draw the car yourself.

*cough quote* Ignore the civic, it's just in there to connect the different elements proportion-wise. Maybe I'll trace it, maybe I'll do a different car from scratch, I haven't decided on that yet.

:P

IMO the grass seems like a stamp, not a solid floor but liquid. Try to add some "not as visible" edge lines to match perspective.

The car will be fine if you make the color balance more simple, the style is too realistic compared to the other BG elements.

Of course as you said, roof needs some shadowing.

Out of that the style is good, very polished and neat.

Good job KhrisMUC.
