okay, first I'd like to say I'm sorry for posting a bmp. I saved this file as a gif and a jpeg, and it got all messed up. the picture is tiny anyways. I hope
right, here is a sprite from the game I'm making. I'd like to change this horrible picture into a more orginal-looking sprite without the photo. Can anybody help me? any particular way of going about this? (
the bigest thing is to make the head normal sized, yet still kinda looking that way.

EDIT: whoa, didn't know that was gonna happen. sorry, call me stupid. if there is way to save it in a smaller format and have the colors stay close to normal, could somebody let me know? I dont want to suck up bandwith or anything
hey! that kinda looks like trapezoid!
but...it isn't
its me.
so ur putting urself in your game? cool! anyway, it looks great!
( ( ( <( -_-)> ) ) )
yeah, check out the granville cronicles in the games in development forum
I don't see the resemblance, m0ds...
what does m0ds got to do with this? ???
Ok, I meant 12431. They have similar color schemes on their avatars.
save it as a jpg it'll keep all its colours, looks good BTW
woodz
save it as PNG,it doesn't mess up the picture with compression artifacting, gif will only mess your picture up if it's more than 256 colours
can I import a PNG file into AGS as a background?
Nope, use BMP or PCX instead. But when you post a picture on the internet, better use "web-friendly" formats like JPEG, GIF or PNG.
okay, gotcha. thanks!
