Okay,
I started up a project with my friend and to be honest I havent worked on anything graphical like games for long years. That's why I feel the need to ask you all about the front view of main character sprite (he's supposed to be grey/black mostly to blend into crowd). Any anatomical problems? Any stupid shading errors :)? Any help appriciated.

Thanks to the help of the SpacePirate and some cool advice he gave me I can present you a version 2.0 of the character :) any critique and comments are always nice :)

Here's a comment then: We need more newcomers like you! The sprite looks very good and leaves little (if anything) to crit... I'm just curious how it'll look in a background of yours!

Looks great! I'm excited to see some idle animations for a guy like him.

I'm afraid that my slow paced work wont let me post an animation nor a background anytime soon :) besides, backgrounds are sooooo hard to draw T.T

But with help and advice I get here I will probably overcome it sooner or later :)

You'll get there,  it's better to practice than to never figure them out. That second sprite is a huge improvement, the shading in particular is better than I would've done. It almost looks like a diagonal facing sprite because of how the body is angled.

SpacePaw

Yeah I know :3 I suppose it makes him more interesting when just standing than just straight-front view. The shading improvement is mostly thanks to SpacePirate (thank you once again!). Don't be so harsh on your own art by the way :) it looks great to me :) (maybe some co-op someday? :P)
