Title: Please crit my portfolio
Post by: He-Man on Tue 10/10/2006 17:37:10
Hello
It's been a while since I last posted in here but now I'm back!

I've been working on my portfolio since yesterday and now it's more or less ready for the public eye.
You can find it here:
http://www.nielshs.dk

Please tell me what you think and how I can improve it...

Cheers

Very nice. Not a fan of the eyeball, but the scroll bar is very cool. Everything is organized okay, but maybe bring the news to the top of the about page. Also, you should show a screen shot or two to get people interested. A link is alright, but it just makes it a hassle for people to look at everything.

I also like the scroll bar, but I disagree about putting the news at the top. I once went on a website where the news comes up and I've no idea what the site is. I go on yours and it says "portfolio" so I know exactly what it is now!

The eyeball is cool, but it does kinda freak me out!

Thanks for replies.

I'm not going to put the news at the top since that is not really that important and it's not going to be upgraded that often.
I have been thinking about putting some pictures in there with the text and it's hopefully going to happen very soon...

Sorry for double posting...
I've made sceenshots next to the text for each game.
The eyeball keep on stairing and the news stays in the bottom...
Does anyone have futher comments?

You might want to avoid using a dynamic medium such as Shockwave to display a portfolio, and rather use html/xhtml. Unless ofcourse your skills within the medium is what you want to display.
