It's 1 of 3 in a series, for a game I abandoned. I didn't have the patience to do a game by myself! LOL!
If someone likes this one, I'll post the other two...

I think it is too black and white-ish.

Try some more colour inside the cave:

Also its very, very grainy. Could work, but I suggest trying to use a bit less textur in there.

EDIT: oooh - just noticed. Welcome to the AGS Forums.

Like this one, outside so more color.

This is nice. Except what's that white stuff all around the caves mouth.
Looks like someone got carried away with a can of Squirt-squirt.

Yes, very grainy indeed. And I bet you didn't do them in 256 colors ;)
The pattern dithering doesn't seem to fit very well. I would use some other dithering method and try to get more contrast and sharper edges.

Cave looks almost alright but please burn that second outdoor image, it just doesn't have any real perspective with realistic vanishing point and tonal values are a mess.

What the hell are you on about, radiowaves..?
There is absolutely no need for any correction of perspective on his secont bg as far as I can see..!

The pictures are a bit too grainy though..

So it needs more definition, and arguably work on perspective... Hmm... I like the grain but I think I overdid it. Work on a clearer edge, less of a brushstroke feel... Thanks this has been helpful...

Lets just say that second image lacks composition, its just cave and bushes thrown on a same paper without any thought. other than that, you may overlook the lightning also. Why exactly is the closest cave part dark and grass surprisingly bright? I am not going to tell you what exactly I see is wrong with it, since I believe you can find it!
I know that remaking the work that is done can be really frustrating and turn you down, but I am only telling you this because I believe in you! Or if this thing is abandoned, well then you have your hands free, don't you?

Now post the third one :P
