So I've made this song that I'm going to submit to a monthly contest. I just wanna make sure this song is the best it can be. Here it is:

All I Want To Do Is Dance (is the song title okay?)

Right now I would really appreciate any comments/feedback on the mixing especially.

If I get top 3rd I win a whole bunch of music software loot, so any suggestions you can give me would be extremely welcome.

Really good job, Geoffkhan! Sounds very professional. I was curious to hear your voice, and I must say it was over my expectations.
The style isn't really in my field of expertise, but I'd say the mixing sounds all right to me.

Shane 'ProgZmax' Stevens

Reminds me of a 70's movie about pimps or something.  I suppose I'd have to know more about the contest before I could say if it fits, but if the contest is 70's pimp music yours WILL win.  Cool, daddio!

The rules were: music to dance to

Which is great because it's pretty general, so you could make a classical waltz or something.

There's a 2 minute time limit on the song, so I had to make it short, but I think I want to make an extended version with a solo between the verses and a long vamp on the last chorus. That way it'll stick in people's heads without having to listen to the song several times.

There are 5 "yeah"s in the song, and one "hey" to break it up. :P

Ubel

It already got stuck in my head. (Might be because I've been listening to it all day long). :=

I simply love it! Great job Geoffkhan! :D

Dance dance dance...!

Sounds like a slowed down Jamiroquai song.
Or, in other words, I think it's too slow for a dance number.
Still waiting for Purity of the Surf II

Yeah, you're probably right. It's more like a groove song. It's kinda too late to speed it up figuring most of the tracks are audio (bass, guitar, vocals).
