I got bored the other day when I wasn't working on Bluecup, trying to think what I could do, and I started working on a new logo/title screen thing for one of the games I haven't worked on for a while... anyway, I've got two versions the old, and then the new... but both are on the same starfield so you can compare them...

I really like the new version, as it seems much more professional or something... even though its basicaly just text.
Would you be really mad at me if I said I liked the first one better?
I like the second one ... but I just really like the old one better!
Perhaps if the body of the letters (in the new version) were a different color rather than see-through to the background ...

Yeah, id have to agree. I like the first screen better... Darth is right, but both are great... its just that maybe the first reminds me of something.. or maybe.. why dont you try adding to the new a black filling for the letters and add the subtext... (my opinion a least)

Sorry, but I agree with Darth, with a little anti-aliasing, the first one is great. IMO, the second is hard to read, and funny to look at. YMMV, but I am a graphic designer by trade, and it just doesn't work.

And yeah, Grundislav made the original ages ago now. I asked him if he would mind me doing a sequel and he said go for it, so I started one... and then stopped for a while and I have now redid this thingy. :)

By the way, the reason I have The Jeremy Encounter is because the whole point of the game is to meet porn legend Ron Jeremy... ;D
I changed the font to Serpentine like the main title and changed it so it looks similar to the main title as well.
Uhh, you know the new subtile doesn't go with space... it looks like graffiti with the elegant space.

Back on the subject... I like the new one, old one was cool (i mean first) but i like the new one better.
As for the subtitle... well thats all you man!.. your the one who makes the game you pick the subtitle.. i just judge the looks, and i dare say IT LOOKS GOOD!!

Both of them look good, but IMO looked a bit generic as they just looked like those 100000000000000000000000000+ Star Wars title ripoffs. They're okay currently but I'll suggest making the font a bit more erotic, like making the "Q" a male symbol, make some of the characters into naughty shapes (if you dare ;D ), etc.

They are awesome, I like the newest one and the first one. Very stylish, original... As far as originally copying Star Wars for a joke that is. :P
