Inside Space Ship

I've been working ona new background today for my game, off the side. It was created in paint, exept for the floor, wich was created in photoshop. The background is of a room wich is full of jars wich contain specimens from earth (bare with me ok ). I drew a heads in one of the jars so you can see what i mean. I'm trying to creat a Dott style backgrounbd so any c+C wich would make it look mare like one would be appreciated.

nice, i dont like the pink against the green though, painful to the eyes, but other that that, nice job.

The pink gye was just a quick drawing to show what kind of things would be in the jars. but ye, it is hard on the eyes... I don't know why I did it in pink.

any light sources? i think they help to achieve dott style, the 'light cones', the reflections on various things, specially you could work on shiny things, like the glass jars or the pipes, to give a more dottish look. (for example, in weird eds room there is a huge copper pipe, i think, look at it for reference) ...
i'd say work on the lighting (?) a bit more.
Other than that the background looks great!

Thanks Proskito. I added a light source and some reflections on the glass and I improved the door a little.



Anything else I can do to improve it?

i think a more dramatic lighting will help to get a more dottish look, something like this:

Your background is very good. It really got a DOTT kind of feeling to it.
With Proskrito's light it is even better....
It's a little dark though, but maybe that's just my monitor...

Hmm, I was thinking making the tubes be the light source. But beings I've never played DOTT, I'm just guessing.
