Improved version.  ;D

My first time posting here critic lounge. This pic is not game releated, just a colored version of one of my old pencil/ink drwaings. Wacom+PSP

A relic hunter stands alone in a surface of ancient dust planet, two blazing moons looking down at him.
Only a rebreather keeps him alive in this wasteland...

but it's worth the risk.

Comments are welcome.

:o Nice, but I don't think painting the left (his left) leg over the jacket was a wise thing to do...shame  ;) Other than that it is pretty good

Whoa. Very good. It looks awesome as it is IMO.

Thanks from the comments.  ;D

Chek the first post for updated pic.
I added some shades on his face and the ground.

Comments are welcome.

excellent!
is that painting? the planets are awesome too.
but why is the guy not standing "normaly" on his legs? it looks like he's going to fall.

This one is very old drawing of mine (maybe 5 yeasr back) which is made with penncisl and then inkeded. coloring is made with the Paint Shop Pro 7, using Wacom Volito tablet.

Satnding normally? I am sorry but I just don't understand this one. Could you clarify a bit?

Let's just say that the way guy has his feet, is against  anatomical and physical laws...
Anyway, I love the way you colored the picture. Cool!

ok I see the problem:
The guy is "sitting" on the pillar behind him.
I though first that he was standing.
If they was some kind of "shadow" between him and the pillar, it would have been more obvious to me.

First of all, I really love the background: Not only the sky but also the rocky environment. It gives a surreal look that really captures the attention.

However, I have to agree with the character's stance comments. It looks like he's dangerously leaning to the side, as if the handgun was so heavy that it was dragging him along to a great fall to the ground.

Another small thing I noticed is the strangeness of the connection between his left hand and the wrist. It seems the hand is fully articulated, a bit like a wooden marionette's hand, staying at a weird angle which doesn't seem very natural for a human being.

On the whole, great work here. Ah... and really good choice of colors.

Or the toxics in the atmosphere might be penetrating his rebreather, making him feel dizzy.  8)

But the thruth may lie in the age of this pic. As I said, the original pic is old. It might be older than  5 years I gave. ;D
