Purple alien / Characters and backgrounds

This isn't really for C&C. I just wanted to share a few things.

This guy is the commander of the ship. Commander Blaargh Blurgh.

And this is the main character. I named him Urple (for now).

i totally loved this a while back, when you first posted it. and i still love it. You better not be giving up on this game, otherwise ill scream.

yeh they're really great, and i love the animation you posted a while back, with him on the asteroid.

I'm still writing the story on this game, so this is pretty much all of the animations I've done. I guess i could post a little something in the G.I.P. But that'll be tomorrow or later. I'm going home to work a bit more on this later today. I have some views and backgrounds that needs doing before I can give you the semi-playable intro.
But only if someone's interested. I wouldn't do something that takes so much time from the storywriting if nobody wants it.

Didn't this purple dude have an anim, where he was riding an asteroid down a canyon?
Didn't he used to be more detailed (possibly in a dance)?
I like the fat guy, tho. I still can't wait to play this.

long time no see..

Well.. I'll be working on it this weekend and then hopefully I'll have a small pre-taste-demo, containing:
.good and bad humour
.partly, fully, hilarious or un- animated characters
.bugs
.love
.extraordinary puzzles, some so un-logic that it makes total sense once you've solved it.
.totally unnecessary actions. (fun)
.lots of useless items to carry around.

well.. and some other stuff..
did i mention bugs?

oh.. i might need someone to write some music for me.. i've made some myself but it takes to much time, and i loose focus on the story and puzzles n that stuff...

Beautiful backgrounds!

The only advice I can give would be to make the piles of coal outside the furnice less grainy, and more sort of "bundled", with bigger facets.

Also, having a fire as a part of the background is no good idea in case you want to animate it, but perhaps you just wanted to show what it would look like.

Quite obviously, that isn't coal. That's alien propulsion fuel from Xargon 6.Ã,Â And alien propulsion fuel from Xargon 6 is grainy.

I remember the animation Iqu was talking about.Ã,Â Urple was dancing and singing with a mop or something.Ã,Â It wasn't that it was more detailed, it was just bigger.Ã,Â I think it was for a cut scene.
