Title: Quest for Glory Hero character
Post by: Twesty on Tue 31/05/2016 01:42:20
Hello, I am currently working on a quest for glory fan game with a low-poly 2.5d look. I have currently modeled the character, but he doesn't move and I haven't done textures yet
here he is:

Please tell me what you think I could add to him to make him better.
Thankyou!

I'd love to give some criticism, but I'm worried I might be bias due to the lack of texture. You see, I find it hard to visualize what it would look like finished.

I suppose the only thing I can comment on is that it looks a little bit too cartoony for a Quest for Glory fan game. But that's just the artstyle you're going for, so I'd recommend you ignore that comment of mine.

It looks nice though. I just wish I could give some advice on how to make it better.

Thank you, I will try to texture it soon so people can see the finished version.

I did a quick texture, I am still deciding whether I should add detail or keep the art style simple

Please tell me what you think!
Thankyou!
PS: His hair is grey because in the game I am making the hero from QFG is old.

It's nice but i immediately thought "Lego quest for glory" but I think it would be pretty awesome to make a lego version of that game though:-D
