Title: Quick Midi, Do you like it?
Post by: LRH on Fri 10/04/2009 01:40:54
I was just playing around with one of my midi programs and came up with this for a kinda "nervous" or "chase" sequence I might use in a game of mine or something. I can't really decide if I like it though, it kinda came out of nowhere. Here's the link, it should run right in your browser. (please don't use it without permission)

Opinions?

I'm not quite sure if the drum fill at 0:10 really serves the overall midi. I sounds almost like you just glued it on. :D

Well, I think that at the beggining, the drums are like... "hesitating", don't know how to call it. I'll redo some parts and show you what I'm trying to say. The other instruments are quite right.

EDIT: Ok, I kinda fixed the drums to fill more space, but I don't know if that was what you were looking for. For some reason, my Guitar Pro didn't let me import the bass line, but I could keep the piano and the drums. http://chrislohr.net/uploader/files/85/Intense%20redo.mid

Keep it up!
