Title: "Rafstroom" a demo dungeon by Lion
Post by: LionOhDay on Tue 04/06/2019 00:00:16
Hello guys.

I found out about Adventure Game Studios around a month ago and got it in my head to make a game.
I've heard that any would be game maker should strive to create smaller games to learn the ropes and get better over time.
So I tried to do just that.
After working on it for around four weeks I'm finally happy enough with the demo to post it here.
While I don't think I'll keep working on this game as it is, I would like to come back to this game once I have some fully completed games under my belt and can do this story justice.

- Rafstroom -
The concept for this game is taken from a D&D adventure I ran with my players. You the player play one of those players, a Tiefling by the name of Ansem trying to find an ancient relic, the Book of Secrets. This relic is contained in a now abandoned temple to the Goddess of death, the Pale Lady.
As you explore the temple you will uncover it's secrets and meet several colorful characters.

An example of one of the rooms in the game.

The achievement page. Viewable in game as well.

Thank you for your time. I look forward to your feedback.

Hi Lion, my advice would be to get a proofreader for starters:

its secrets
its game
its nest

Welcome to the forums  :-D

Well that's embarrassing.

Chalk that up as another lesson learned, spell check your stuff before posting it for the public to see.
