Title: Recording
Post by: Neole on Fri 02/05/2003 10:17:18
This one's very sketchy, 20 minutes. And its based on a real person, she's a singer on my new music project. I drew her from memory afterwards, not much of a resemblance except the skirt and hair and setting.

Er no.. this one's around 20 and looks (or sounds) nothing like Cher. Its my drawing skills at fault.

talking about cher

it's fun to see her on tv with her daughter :)

you'd think the daughter is cher's mom ;D

I love your drawing style Neole. Just one question.... is that by chance a digital workstation in front of her? The board appears to have a raised portion in the front middle.

N3T, never seen Cher's daughter! But now youve got me curious..

Mezlo its a mackie digital mixer. Pretty much all wrongly drawn!

Ahhh, I see the light! At the bottom is the engineer's hand. Duh...
I'm used to having the board facing me which would mean turning it around in your scene. So how do you like the mackie? I use a roland vs1880... a little older now but the effects boards are great. I can record all my characters dialog and then just change it with the effects to be a woman or whatever. And the board in your pic looks fine to me. Most people don't know what they look anyway.

Well the mackie does its job nicely. I only use it for recording on to a comp, not for effects. The preamps are supposed to be very good.
