It seems rather empty. I guess you'll be adding an audience later, but still a bit more detail on the background itself would be nice.
Also those pillars look really weird, especially the one on the right.
Apart from that it looks ok. Perhapy you could animate the flags to make them look like they are blowing in the wind to give a bit more of realism and life to the scene.

You are off to a good start.

It might be more interesting to have a close up view of the stage, so that the speaker can be clearly seen.
The start of the scene could be a pan up over the amassed crowd, stopping at the stage.

I think you should decide whether or not you want to use the black outline.  Using it half the time and not using it the other half makes a very uneven image.  Compare the pillars on either side of the stage.

If you keep the black lines, don't let the light-grey cord on stage intersect like that.

The base of the pillars on the left side are lined up with the dark grey portion of the square while the base of the pillar on the right is not.

Why are there two pillars on the left and one on the right?  I would think that it would be symmetrical.

The dark-grey area extends a little bit further than the stage on the left side, but is lined up(ish) with the right side of the stage.  Again, I would expect symmetry.

Also, either the right side of the stage or the right side of the dark-grey streed is not in proper perspective.
