I would like to have some c&c from this midi I did today.

I made the music for the The Scout's Story game. Some kind of a action... orsmthinglikethat..

It's short but good, I especially liked the drum beat. ;D

I think that you should add some more instruments into the song, and make it a bit longer.

Here's my version with 2 solos:

I hope this helps you.

Sounds, fine. I will add something like that! Thanks!

I like the new version, especially the drums. But there's a "humming" noice in the background (guitars?) that IMHO should be toned down a bit.

The tune would fit perfect into an action scene or similiar.
"With a loaded gun, and sweet dreams of you."

Those two solos do a remarkable change!

Whoa!  That totally kicks ass! :D

It sounds good... it's catchy, I especially like the triplet hi-hats you added in the second version.

What do you use to make your music with?
Watch, I just killed this topic...

The second version was catchy. It reminded me of the countless hours I incidentally spent listening to the Doom midis when I'd play that in marathon sessions.

My version:

Some tricks with heavy metal:

- always use an 'indian-sounding' scale for guitar solos.
- always put cymbals on the accented beats.
- make sure that the drummer has only two hands.
- bass slides and drum flams are a must.
- crazy drum solos are a must. (although the one in my version sound quite right)

I agree sounds just like that Doom song. Man I loved that music. If your going for an action feel in your game this is great
I am slaving away over:

Starkers & Tutch (soon to be in the Games in production Forum) [/sig]

hey nice tune

but I gotta comment on the rhythm guitar. it's way too static.
first of all

if a rhytme guitar plays, they at least play 2 tones (1st and 5th), I think it'd sound better if you did that... also it could use a bit variation. I'd try it myself, but cubase is giving me hell  >:(
* N3TGraph airguitars!

Yes, it sounds that way, but it's only humanly possible to hit two drums with sticks. Any more at a time, and you have to do a flam.

Does anyone know a good place where I can get an FL Studio 4 Fruityloops tutorial? I downloaded the demo, but I can't figure out how to use it.

Currently in production: Septigon
