the shadow should be one the right like the bank's.

And you might only looking for light critics but I dunno about that really big seat of the bank. doesn't look to have much comfort this way.

- changed the over-all shading (gradiated the walls)
- added some noise to the floor/carpet
- added shadows to the table
- added trim around the doors
- added floorboards

I think it's a good start you had.  I just threw some of my own touches in there!  Keep up the good work and I hope this helps at least a little!

As for the room itself, I think that the couch is bit too large, it looks more like a bed now, and the table on the right should be a little bigger?
There is a lot of empty space on the walls, mayby draw something on them.
And the door on the right has its knob (or-what-ever-its-called, the handle you use to open it) bit too high.
It looks good, anywho.

I like the room very much, and had ideas concerning adding some objects, and took Mandarb's rework as a base.

Maybe it helps a bit...

I suggest monochromatic noise for the floor. Or is it? *too blind*
And less of it, of course. About 6-8% of noise should be enough to fake some detail but not make things too messy.

Also, make the sofa smaller. It's more like a weird bed right now.

the sofa has had a lot of comments but i don't want to say much about it as it may spoil some of the story line of the game sorry guys the sofa must stay as it is

I think my main problem is the noise in the room i run out of idea way to quickly
Plantpots bags light switches skirting boards things that should be put in directly to the room i often miss out but im sure these ideas will stick some time
Thanx again

Dart Mandarb, how do you add the noise?

i do it in paintshop 7

As you build up you image, select the area which you want the noise within HINT use the magicwand on the background layer
Goto the new layer and fill with grey
Goto filter, noise, add noise Note only add a small percentage say 5or six percent
Send this layer behind the floor layer or layer you want to be adding the noise and lessen the opacity of the area

Thats how i do it but darth may have other ideas
