those things on both sides of the background are overgrown trees
Nice effort. One or two comments I would make on it, though:
* It might be better to use a shading range for the ground and tree rather than stripes of the same colour. Particularly with the grass, it looks a bit weird.
* The darkened area below the cave entrance is, I presume, a shadow. The only trouble is that if light was shining towards the cave, the shadow would be within the cave entrance, not outside it. And if the light were shining away from the cave, the whole cliff face should be casting a shadow, not just the entrance.
nice but you could add some things to it:
*some rocks
*maybe a statue in the front of the entrance
*a path
is it just me or is the perspective wrong?

just one thing
the ruins are supposed to be hidden and was never intended by the temple gaurdian to be found
in the story these ruins only appeared three days ago from the games beginning after the intro

Those were trees, you really can't see any perspective in the picture he posted, but his pic does look nice!
i didn't have any time, i did it quick, also this was not suposed to be a tree, it was suposed to be this little thingis that is holding this up:
