I guess he wants that we crit this animation.

For me it looks like you wanted to animate a transformation of Simon into a cat, but it looks more like he melts down and then the cat is visible that seemed to stand behind him.
That the transformation looks believable I think Simon must shrink down to the size of the cat, get thos black hairs and the form of the cat and then be it. Oh, and the melt/transformation animation was way too slow, you should speed up the framerate, hm, the same with the jump of the cat, which looks kinda neat by the way.

May I ask which program you used?

Like Oz mentioned, the animation looks more like he is melting into the ground than actually transforming.  I tossed together an animation to give you a few ideas:

Basically what I do here is create a little stretch effect that makes the transition seem a bit more believable.

Nice, except that the cat would be HUGE in game, it's head is the same size as simons, and it stand (with the hat) up to his shoulders!

But it's not a cat, it's a young Panther
