It may be just me, but I do need to know something first:

All the sounds and noises and voices, are these your creations, or sampled. You used a microphone or just samples. How much is this your song?

Anyhow, I assume that everything in there is yours in which case I have to say this:

WOW

That track is really really cool! Very well made! Weird!

The form works, the middle 'video game' like part is marvelous at the exact place where it is.

The only thing that I would (maybe) suggest, although you could very well leave it as it is, would be to change and transpose an aoctave down the string-synth pad with the glissandi (I hope you understand what I mean).

but:

WOW

Of course it always makes a difference how far into sampling this track is, but by the sound of it, it is pretty much your creation so...

It's like... Eno meets the Residents. Strange and very interesting. I'm curious to see what sort of game goes with this kind of piece.  ;D

ManicMatt

Haha madness! I like it though.

However, it seems glaringly obvious to me that the "pu-chow!" voice drum thing would sound a lot better if it was played a little bit sooner in the loop.

...oh.. at the end of the song the "pu-chow" IS played at the time that sounds right to me. Huh?

Ubel

Obi. Marry me. Again.

it's good, but i'd get someone else to sing it. the person singing sounds flat and out of tune in alot of places. Take this as GOOD advice. im a performing arts student, i know alot about this kinda stuff.

Actually, that's part of what I liked about it, and what made me say it reminded me of Brian Eno. One man's out of tune, nasal honking is another man's artistic innovation. To put it another way: Yanni is always in tune.

My view has always been that it's important to learn the rules of your craft primarily so that you can make an educated decision about when to break them.

This means nothing to me*.

Awesome. I look forward to the game!

*And, it would seem, to most of the board, who weren't born in 1980...
Still waiting for Purity of the Surf II

Oh, I just figured it was obvious and didn't mention it.  8)
