well Im not sure if you can see anything with these small animations. It's only 3 pictures so far (plus 1 for standing). I would like the arms to move a little and smoother animation for the legs. But I don't know how many pictures I should add to it.

Thanks for any help.
Here's a psd if anyone would like to help graphically ;)

(btw it's for a platform medieval game with a buy-system, much like wonderboy for sega)
hey, that aint nice.
no reply's for such a nice character as this?
anywho i would suggest you add the secondary motion in the arms, once thats done try adding a character bob when the legs are at their full extent.
This is a wonderful character, kudos go to nhazgul!!
do you walk side on to the camera in real life???
Looks a bit silly doesn't it. and arms need to move.
Give him some life!!!
Some tv-games use this sidewalk, but I must admit I've taken one step further by angling his head to the side. But I think it's alright. Made a little scene for him:

Now you see what kind of game it is.. very simple.
Thanks for the answers so far, but these things I already knew.
Can anyone help me with the legs? Im going to try with one more picture. Now I can see that he looks a bit lame.
Yes, definitely add an extra frame to the legs.
I know what Jack is getting at, but I too have seen the side-on style used frequently, and it doesn't bother me greatly. The thing that bugs me more than arms/legs or framerate or whatever is the fact that his hair is static.
I know it sounds a little silly, but every time I look at him, I'm just waiting for the front of his hair (where it falls over his forehead) to give a little bob.
Apart from that, your background is absolutely fabulous - I think your character will fit perfectly!
Good luck!
