For a first title screen, it's awesome. What you could try is to make the shadows a little transparrent, see-thorugh, so you can see the desert sand. Shadows aren't usually totally black. Also, try adding variation to the sand. it looks the same all the time. also, maybe it could be a litle lighter too. Excellent work me lad!

This is not bad for the first try.
Ok. I think this shall be the shadows of two cowboys, right? If this should look real, you schould think of the fact, that the sun can only produce shadows in one direction, so one of the shadows has to be removed.
The texture of the ground looks unnatural. If it's sand, it should be a plain coloured surface. Maybe you can see something like footsteps here and there, stones, grass, shadows of fences or something elso....
The Arms of the cowboys are strangely curved. Remember of elbows.

my 2dadventure upload wont work so if you know any others tell me

The sand is a little empty, i would recomennd adding maybe a cactus or a snake, other than that, it is good
