Well me and my brother (who doesn't have an account here) are working on this character for a game. This sprite was mostly done by him. Before we start animating him we want to know and C&C you have.

Also if you could have a guess at how old he looks and what sort of person he is, it would be helpful. (I know it's hard but it helps me to understand how other people see him).

Babar

The views doesn't match (the jacket, pants and shoes aren't lined up, as far as I can see).

He seems to have stubble, so I'd guess in his 20s-30s. However, the front view moustache(?) looks a bit more prominent than the rest of his stubble. Also, the hair in the side view doesn't look all that great. You might also want to change the colour of his mouth/eyes a few shades.

Now, with his very own game: Alien Time Zone

What exactly do you mean by this. Forgive my slowness. When it comes to graphics, I don't know all that much.

Also, make his arms longer.

MilkAndCheese

Ok I edited him slightly

+ Arms slightly extended
+ Stubble increased
+ Changed colour on shoe
+Changed hands
And I changed the eyes and mouth colour.

Looks better already.

When Babar said the views didn't match, he probably meant this:

See how the shoes are on the same level in the second pic? Also I made the brown a little darker.

Hope this helps.

MilkAndCheese

Now I understand. Thanks for that. Anything else that I should do before I start to animate him?

If you have any backgrounds sketched out, you should put your sprite in them and make sure it fits, scale-wise.  No point animating a sprite completely and then realizing it's too small for the background.

I forgot that step when making my own in-progress game, and it almost cost me a lot of work.

Buckethead

Maybe you can work on the stiff pose a bit? Losen up the arms and legs  :)
