Title: Some music for C&C
Post by: InCreator on Wed 19/05/2004 05:04:09
First, listen to this:

What I want to know is - would something like this fit into an adventure game? I like to use strong bass and d'n'b-ey snares all the time, but most of adventure games have these quiet and atmospheric MIDI background tracks and I'm afraid my track is too... aggressive or something.
Should I decrease tempo, make beat softer and take out bass or not?Ã,  :-\
What else could I add there?

C&C is welcome. Thanks.

Well, it's nice tune, I like the melody. But if you're going to use it as a background music for a game, I suggest you to make the drums go half as slower than they go now, so that you don't have to decrease the tempo of the track... (does that make any sense? :P )

your drums are out of sync with your melody slightly. The melody sounds quite good though.

I like it, reminds me of one of Unreal Tournaments tracks.

I can imagine this track playng during an intro scene or the credits. As far as ingame usage goes, it would work well in some kind of factory background, or futuristic cantine.
