Some weird backgrounds and character for MAGS game

Well, here are a few backgrounds for a very weird and badly drawn planet :P Anyway, I should have done them in 320X200 now that I think of it, but it was just a habit for me to use hi-res, which is quite unneeded here. But anyway, here they are:

Bck's are ok for MAGS game, but there are few things you could change:

Street: The doors of TD building are too big, or the path leading to them is too narrow. Also, you should move V-P and KFK building doors to the center of the wall. I don't know what's that by the path, rocks or a pond? If those are rocks, give 'em a bit shading, and if it's a pond, colour it darker blue.

Hall: There is a shadow under the desk, but there is no light source. You should fix the line below the door, make it less bumpy, and paint the crack in the wall darker.

Murray:His hat makes him look like the undead pope ;D.  Make it bigger.

Heh, good point, I'll fix somne of that, as for murray, I kinda like his hat like that, makes him look clumsy, or like it's a cheap handout hat he wasd given on arrival, which was too small for his big head ;)

Sorry to say, but thease pictures suck! >:( If your making a game. Even a mags, use some time to make it. Those were straight from the Paint. Drawn in few seconds. But the character was kind of cool, even as a clear copy from Monkey Island 3.

Well, yes the char is a traceover mostly, which is why he looks decentish I suppose, but you must understand that even with lots of time I can produce anything much better than this. My shading sucks, so this time I decided to go for a flat look. Albeit these didn't take very long as you'd expect, but I did spend enough time on thinking of their layout and such.

What is it exactly that bothers you most? I'm not against negative feedback if it can help me improve. Have you got any suggestions?
