Apart from the fact that those stupid animating smileys like that really piss me off, you did a good job  ;)

That animation reminds me of Lechuck vs Guybrush in the Monkey Island end scene.

Heheheh... yeah, I can see that. BTW, I re-hosted them, as 2dadventure seems to be down.

The only thing that bothers me is the smiley gets knocked off the screen horizantally without a change in size and then suddenly appears very tiny and crashes, again without a change in size. To me it looks like he moves right, suddenly flies backward, then moves back left again.

Hahahah...reminds me of Rayman. What is that thing that falls at the end?

It's the ssmiley falling to it's doom... or, rather, pain. The change in direction is just a bit of artistic license. A bit like in Super Smash Bros?

babar, redwall means when the guy gets hit he is meant to srink in size so that it can fall in a curve(red) like seen at the end

red=cruve
green=path it is taking now

Well, here's my take on things.
The punch sequence is VERY slow. It doesn't look all that powerful.
What I did was just take a couple of frames out.
Now the punch packs more of a... well... punch. :P
