This gif has 13 frames. I know I need more frames for it to really work, but I'd like to know if I've got the general idea, here?

It seems to come down too hard directly onto the surface, I think you need a more gradual angle of attack

It seems to drop a heck of a lot more than it does glide. It doesn't even bounce much afterwards.
